KANGRA's fate became intertwined with that of a visionary visual artist, Enrico Magnani. His works, which combine bold creativity and deep meaning, have attracted the attention of a vast audience of international scope.
The artist and the company, thanks to a historic friendship and especially strong mutual esteem, now find themselves sharing a common vision: to bring a message to the world through a project that is revolutionary. From this union "Art Couture" was born. The idea is simple but powerful: to combine aesthetics, function, and meaning in a single product.
Combining the timeless elegance of Kangra cashmere with the innovative artistic expression of Enrico Magnani.
Sweaters become thus canvases on which the artist's cosmogonic works come to life, leaving the walls of museums transformed into real works of art to be wear. Each hand-painted garment becomes a living canvas, a creation unique, an artistic excellence that brings with it functionality, harmony, beauty and meaning. The individual is thus transformed into a patron and ambassador of a message that he or she shares: communicating aesthetic and conceptual values, attributing to fashion not only an aesthetic, but also a meaning; in fact, the spectacular stellar explosions (the supernovas) from which the collection is inspired -each shirt is named after a star in the Orion constellation- remind us remind us that the elements that enable life are created within the stars, thus marking our origin and our interconnection with the universe: we are indeed children of the stars!
A project between art and fashion in the round, from creation to distribution; in fact, for the launch of this collection, Kangra plans a tour of the "works" in the windows of the most important multi-brand stores important stores in Italy with a presentation vernissage in the presence of guests and testimonials, similarly to what already happens in the world of art galleries.
Kangra and Magnani, with this project, intend to leave an indelible impression in the minds and hearts of all those who will wear one of the works of art from the extraordinary ‘Art Couture’ collection.

RIGEL
The blue supergiant
The blue supergiant in the constellation Orion will become a supernova in the distant future. The yellow bursts, breaking through the limits of the blue circle and spreading into the black, into the vacuum of cosmic space. A blue circle to symbolise the identity of the star - blue is in fact the radiation emitted by this supergiant. Fluidity and energy, a dance of chromatic and geometric contrasts. The chaos of the explosion of colour is balanced by the geometric perfection of the circle and further down by the Greek cross, the archetypal symbol of the union of opposites (Yin-Yang) and symbol of life, that life which also originated thanks to the spectacular phenomenon of the supernova.

BETELGEUSE
The red supergiant
The red supergiant of the Orion constellation will become a supernova in the distant future. The only garment in the collection that contains red fields to symbolise the identity of the star - red is in fact the radiation emitted by this supergiant. On the canvas, between red and blue - archetypal colours associated with the masculine (Yang) and the feminine (Yin) - a dark band collects a golden explosion: an abstract homage to the flaming nature of the star and the spectacular explosion that will characterise its end.

ALNITAK
The star of the belt
The belt star of the Orion constellation. In this wearable canvas, the celestial inspiration takes on a new form. A broad, dark brown upper section merges elegantly into a beige band that takes up the idea of a belt - Alnitak belongs precisely to Orion's belt - which in turn joins a bright yellow lower section. A bold vertical stripe of colour dominates the stage, cutting through the stillness of the horizontal backgrounds: a ray of light in a cosmic space reinvented in the negative.

BELLATRIX
The warrior
The warrior of the Orion constellation. The motif is uneven, with some areas showing a greater concentration of black, while others allow the bright yellow to emerge more dominantly, creating a feeling of movement and energy. The marked colour contrasts of this work, always balancing between Yin and Yang, associate it with the strength, energy and action of a warrior, more than any other garment in the collection. The Greek cross and sharp geometries give the composition balance between chaos and order.

The blue star
The blue star of the Orion constellation. An explosion of golden yellow on a blue background, playful splashes dance across this canvas, giving it a lively vitality. Like the painted dream of a decipherer of cosmic codes, mathematical equations - taken from the theory of General Relativity - adorn this wearable work of art: an enigmatic homage to the profound links between science and the stars. Inscriptions, these, which not only make the composition even more original, but also enhance the intellectual appeal of the piece.
