Due to the hostile climatic and environmental conditions in which they live, goats develop a characteristic fleece that appears long and thick on the surface, with relatively coarse fibres called girdles. Yet, as in any self-respecting mystery, the real treasure is hidden from view: it is in the undercoat that the most precious part is found, called the \u2018Duvet\u2019 or \u2018Borra\u2019, consisting of a soft, smooth and very fine down.
