Due to the particularly harsh temperatures, goats from Inner Mongolia produce the finest fleece — the source of the most precious cashmere, renowned for its unmatched fineness, softness, and fiber length.

Harvesting Techniques
The harvesting process begins in spring, during the goats’ molting period. Since the techniques used at this stage directly affect the quality of the final product, Hadam’s oversees the entire process to ensure the highest standards of excellence.
The raw material from which the finest yarns are made is obtained through combing, a delicate method that yields only 200 to 300 grams of duvet per goat — an amount that is further reduced during the selection and refinement phases.
The complexity of this process, the limited volume of material obtained, and the remoteness of the places of origin are some of the factors that make cashmere such a precious and exclusive material.

Care and Maintenance
To remain soft and smooth, each garment must be handled with delicacy and great care — which is why Kangra has created a dedicated maintenance kit that includes a shampoo, brush, and anti-moth essence, specifically designed for washing, treating, and preserving your garments.
Use the brush to remove any pilling, the small balls that naturally form on the surface due to friction and the accumulation of shorter fibers. Wash in cold water, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C, preferably by hand, using a moderate amount of specific detergent or a gentle soap. Rinse thoroughly and lay the garment flat to dry at room temperature, away from radiators, direct sunlight, or heat sources. At the end of the season, store in a cool, dry place, using breathable containers and our specific anti-moth product.
